- When v'Shi (Stellar)
was exiled to Earth, a Cosmic Codex was smuggled
out with him. The Codex is like a living book or
computer. It has all the knowledge that an Eksian
would need growing up, and then some. It also has
the ability to use this knowledge to some extent.
Well, one day, the Codex wondered what the
inhabitant of Earth were really like on a one-on-one
basis. So it created a body for itself to travel
the world. And what a body! Since this body
contained a small piece of its consciousness, the
Codex dubbed the new life form Codette. Stellar
was a little shocked to find the Codex had done
this. He knew that she would need a guide and
guardian. His first piece of advice was to make
her add those white bits to her "costume".
